Percentage Calculator ("the app") is developed and published by an individual developer, Curtis Fu ("I", "me"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
The app has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no backend server. Every calculation you perform happens entirely on your device and is never sent anywhere. The only thing the app remembers between sessions is your light/dark theme preference, stored locally on your device.
The sections below cover the third-party services the app uses for advertising, crash reporting, and anonymous usage analytics.
The app includes Google's AdMob SDK to support a free version of the app through banner ads. As of this version, ads are disabled — the app does not display ads or make ad requests. This may change in a future update.
When ads are active, AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers (such as your device's advertising ID) to serve and measure ads, in accordance with Google's own privacy practices. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from AdMob for details.
The app uses Sentry to automatically report crashes and errors so they can be fixed. This may include technical diagnostic information such as device model, operating system version, and the state of the app when the error occurred. No account information or personal identifiers are intentionally collected — the app has no accounts to begin with. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.
The app uses Aptabase, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand which calculators are used. This is limited to anonymous event counts (for example, "a calculation was completed") and session counts. Aptabase does not use persistent device identifiers, cookies, or any means of tracking you individually or across apps. See Aptabase's Privacy Policy.
The app saves your light/dark theme preference locally on your device using standard platform storage. This value never leaves your device and is not visible to me or to any third party.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
